Madrid Farm Cottages – Clarens – Free State

We have three self-catering cottages in the garden on the farm “Madrid”, which has been in the Mousley family for approx.134 years. The cottages are close enough to the homestead to be very safe but still private. Also in the garden is a Banksia rose which was planted soon after the first George Bennett Mousley arrived to take up residence about 134 years ago. The present generations farming on this working farm are the fourth and fifth Mousleys to take up the challenges involved in farming on this farm. Continue reading →
